| The 2016 Australian Council for Educational Leaders South Australia Awards Night was held in Adelaide recently, which recognises and celebrates outstanding educational leaders and their services to education. Padthaway Primary School’s acting principal Olivia English took out one of the awards, the Pip Field Educational Leadership Medal. Olivia said she was thrilled and honoured to be recognised for the award. The Medal is presented to those principals and school leaders who consistently demonstrate passion and enthusiasm in their respective roles, and Chairman of the Padthaway Primary School Governing Council Sam Ward said that Olivia was very deserving of the award. Olivia remains as acting Principal at Padthaway til the end of the year, while she covers the role for Harry Long who is on leave. |
