Students from the Naracoorte Independent Learning Centre are raising funds for their volunteer trip to Cambodia later in the year with some very innovative initiatives. One of the students, Skye Louise, has compiled a collection of recipes and has created a cookbook with a focus on budget meals for those who may be on a limited income. The book’s called ‘Cheap and Cheerful’ and retails for $20. Skye has included recipes from some well-known Australian chefs and cooks, who happily gave their support to the project to help out towards the ILC’s Cambodia adventure.
