| Several young locals including students from Naracoorte High School competed at the South Australian Junior Heifer Expo in Adelaide recently. The Expo is set up to provide youth with a pathway into the beef industry, and participants got to hear key note speakers talk about various topics that included marketing, nutrition, feed-lotting, butchering and cattle handling. 190 competitors attended from all over Australia, ranging in age from 8 to 23. |
