| Next week is National Dental Health week, and the aim of the focus on dentistry is to educate Australians about the importance of maintaining good oral health. Keith dentist Dr Vyla Ellis said that while many people avoid visits to the dentist, there have been many improvements over the years and dentists are able to make patients more comfortable, provide relief from tooth pain, and fix smiles. Dr Ellis advises brushing our teeth gently for 2 minutes twice a day using fluoride toothpaste and a soft toothbrush, avoid sugar and foods and drinks that are acidic in nature, and to floss regularly. |
