| At the Tatiara District Council’s meeting last week, installation of CCTV at Virgo Park in Bordertown was considered. Another unit to be installed at Padthaway was also put forward, and the moves come following incidents of vandalism, and reports of hoon drivers in these areas. Council can apply for one off grants of up to $100,000 that is earmarked to help local councils improve safety, reduce crime and reduce fear of crime. |
