| BORDERTOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL’S NEW LOOK RECEPTION Students, staff and visitors at Bordertown Primary School are enjoying the new front office revamp. The school’s administration two-stage redevelopment includes a new front desk, entrance way and office for the Principal, plus a dedicated finance section that is still in construction. The office now adjoins the new staff room, and the next upgrade due for the school will be an exciting play space for the junior primary children. Innovative and very creative natural play spaces have been designed, with a focus on nature and play that is “natural” utilising a sand pit, stage and a blackboard; tunnels and mounds, spaces for mud play and construction. Principal Shelly Cameron said they’ve applied for a grant to help fund the new play space, and it will be a work-in-progress. |
