| Major crash investigators have attended the site of an accident at Bordertown, where the 38-year-old male driver was killed at around 7.30pm Tuesday evening. He was driving a small Hyundai sedan that collided with a semi-trailer. The man, a resident of Bordertown, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and sadly he died at the scene. Police and emergency services closed the Dukes Highway and diverted east and west bound traffic; at this time the circumstances surrounding the crash are not known. The state’s road toll now stands at 41, after another fatal crash claimed the life of an 87-year-old woman at Murray Bridge on Wednesday. Her SUV collided with three parked cars and a tree on Swanport Road. She was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital but sadly she died overnight. |
