24-year-old Ronnie Dix, who is Branch Manager at Elders in Lucindale, recently took on the best auctioneering voices in the world, and returned home with the award of Rookie of the Year, at the International Livestock Auctioneering Championships in Calgary, Canada. Ronnie’s only had his hand on the gavel for three years, and said he was honoured to represent Australia at the titles, plus he was the second Australia ever to win the Rookie’s event. Ronnie was also the first ever South Australian winner of the prestigious National Young Auctioneers comp held earlier this year, since it started 26 years ago.
