MAN FACES A RAFT OF CHARGES AFTER TRAFFIC INCIDENT

A man who reversed into another vehicle in Bordertown on Tuesday night, with a two year old child in the back seat, ended up being charged with 10 offences and was subsequently arrested. Police were called to a disturbance on Milne Street, and the offender’s charges ranged from property damage, recklessly causing harm, endanger life and three counts involving an intervention order. The man, believed to be from Keith, fronted Mount Gambier court on Wednesday, where he was refused bail. The driver of the car that had been reversed into was treated for minor injuries following the incident, and the child involved was unhurt.
 
KINGSTON SPEEDER COPS HEAVY FINE

An instant fine of just over $1,000 was issued to a Kingston driver for speeding, when he was caught doing more than 45km/h above the speed limit. Limestone Coast police are once again warning drivers not to speed - the man’s now missing 9 demerit points and has been disqualified from driving for 6 months, all for doing 126 in an 80km/h zone on the Southern Ports Highway.
