| The sport of power lifting is in focus this week, with Bordertown mum of four Mandy Frazer, taking out a women’s state power lifting title. After the competition held earlier this year, Mandy now holds three state records for squat, bench press and dead-lift. Mandy’s on track to become a fully qualified personal trainer, and she’s only been power lifting for a year. Mandy will compete at the National Competitions in Renmark on August 13, with the whole family in tow to support and watch her perform three lifts; the squat lift is her strongest and she currently holds the state record at 130kg.
